A giftie for my absolutely awesome beta-reader. As thanks for bothering with my silly fanficcery, I offered to draw some gift art, and my beta reader of ace-ness requested Pleakley as Veronica Lake. I'm not at all familiar with Ms. Lake or her work, so I just tried to give him that sultry "glow" that actresses of the time had (for those who don't know, yes, Wendy Pleakley is a crossdressing male alien ^_-). And I just sort of chucked Jumba in the background, because, as CousinSarky him/herself said, what would a femme fatale be without a decent man in way over his head?

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
