The Marauders at the time of Sirius's arrest.
From left to right: Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs.
. . . or, Remus, Peter, Sirius and James, if you'd prefer
Since James does not have a middle name that I know of, I took the liberty of assigning him the middle name of "Henry". I think "James Henry Potter" came to mind because of "James Henry Trotter" of the James and the Giant Peach fame ^_^
However, let it never be said that I do not go out of my way to be accurate . . . Because I was not certain on the matter, I actually called a local pet shop and asked how many toes a rat has. I'm glad I did. A rat has four toes on each front paw and five on each back paw. I'd have never guessed Wormtail would have more toes on his back feet than his front O_o;
I also hunted down a picture of Sirius's Azkaban sign on [link] so I could draw the runes correctly (I couldn't read the stuff in the boxes at the bottom, so I just put his name there instead).
Your talent never ceases to amaze me. This is so well done I almost started crying (trust me, I never cry at any of this stuff, except really really sad movies)! The night Lily and James died has always been a sore spot for me, just because of all the different and unjust events set into motion...Remy being left totally alone, Sirius (though at times I want to hit him over the head with a two-by-four) is put into Azkaban for a crime he didn't commit, James is killed by the Dark Lord though he fought valently, and Pettigrew escapes to live a comfortable life as a rat for a long time. No justice is done that night and...aw crap! *wipes tears* Every time I look at Remus's face, something inside me just twists. You have an amazing talent for instilling a certain emotion into all of your drawings...
"A Traitor in our Midst" instills a sense of foreboding, whereas your most recent drawing, "Harry and the Quidditch Team", makes us feel happy and joyful, as well as it makes us laugh. And this drawing here "MWPP: 1981" seems to shout "INJUSTICE!", for lives were destroyed that day, the innocent were convicted and the guilty were released. You are an excellent artist, and I commend you for every one of your drawings, even the RL/SB, even though I'm not much of a fan of that pairing...
I am already excited for what you will come up with next!
Much Love,
Tsunami
P.S.- I like your Remus much better than the POA Movie Remus...
Great penwork, excellent details, clear lines - and I especially like the imagination in this picture. And the hopeless expression of Remus! The wounded rat. Just fantastic.

so I asked for a small, slow one
*stares* oh holy cow! This is amazing! The ink work is so wonderful. It's well done, crisp, everything is clear, the panals are all active and yet connected, the emotion in Remus's and Sirius's face is perfectly readable, and you nail the body language of a scared rat.
I'm gonna fangirl this one ^__^

The imagery of this is stunning.
And I didn't realize what font that sign was done in until now. Heh, thanks.
