Artist's Comments

A while back, Danni and I had a conversation about Duchess, and we entertained ourselves with the idea of her skulking round art museums, standing veeery still in front of paintings and then leaping out to scare small children :P

It got me thinking and I sort of like the idea that Duchess didn't just "pop!" into existence when her creator imagined her, but maybe she actually came out of someone's painting. It was a fun idea and I wanted to draw it.

This started out a doodle worthy of scraps, but I ended up kind of liking it and now I wish I'd done it on nicer paper -_-

Hahaha, I love this.
Dutchess is probably one of my favorite characters from Foster's, if only because she's so easy to make fun of.

Anyways, that's a really cool concept. I'd love to see more!

aww, duchess has a georgia o'keefe smile! (Yeah, I'm a pervert). Duchess is awesome, I could so see her blending into avante garde paintings and jumping out suddenly. As long as someone carried her to and from it.
